Dr. Daniel Ngan
Dr Ngan has over 25 years of clinical experience and a longstanding commitment to patient-centred, evidence-based care and believes understanding patients leads to better treatment outcomes.
He maintains a strong interest in innovation while respecting evidence-based clinical care. He has a preference for optimising dentofacial aesthetics and function, and is also one of the few clinicians in Australia to routinely use hidden Invisalign attachments on the backs of teeth for maximum discretion. He has more than 20 years of specialist experience using aligners.

Outside of work, you will find Dr Ngan prioritising time with his wife and children, or teaching and training at his local dojo, where he holds a third dan black belt in karate.

Dr Ngan graduated from the University of Sydney with the prestigious Sims Medal, recognising him as the “most outstanding graduating orthodontist in Australia”. He also received the ASOFRE Award for excellence in academic research.
He is a graduate of the University of Otago, where he was awarded the University Medal for Excellence in Clinical Dentistry.
Dr Ngan is a Fellow of the World Federation of Orthodontists, a member of the Royal Australian College of Dental Surgeons, and holds lecturer appointments at both the University of Sydney and Charles Sturt University.
